Erik's Story

KDUVfm has inspired me to live positively and to give God all that i have. i've heard a lot of stories on the air that have helped me to live for God. Every morning i hear stories and i think to myself, "wow, God has helped these people so much. He is so amazing.

Jamie's Story

I have listened to KDUVfm since the mid-90s for inspiration and focus but since then my life has changed significantly. God reached into my life, shuffled things around, and I now have an even closer relationship with Him, however I ended up far away from my Central Valley home and family.

Now I listen to KDUVfm online. I live out in the country in my new state of Missouri and my radio can't pick up any Christian radio stations. KDUVfm continues to feed my soul and keeps me feeling close to everything I left behind.Thanks for the descriptions of the orange blossoms and the mountains and all the goings on around there. I am strengthened and encouraged by the message you share even 1700+ miles away!

To my delight my adult son called me singing one of your songs the other day, this being new for him I cherish the additional bond of sharing your message together. What a blessing for all of us! Thank you and keep up the good work!

Ashley's Story

When I found KDUVfm, it was purely by accident. But I'll never forget the song that was playing: "Who I Am hates Who I've Been" by Relient K. The song lyrics captured the way I was feeling at that very moment. It took a couple of songs to play before I realized that it was a Christian radio station, but when it did occur to me, it confirmed that God is truly everywhere, and He reminded me that I was not alone.

That was about 5 years ago. Since then, no matter what time of day or night I listen to KDUVfm, I hear the message I need to hear, whether it's a message of encouragement, hope, or love. I know that if God can reach me through the airwaves via KDUVfm, then there are thousands of other people who can also be positively affected by this ministry. It is of great importance, especially to me, that this station remain on the air, so I support KDUVfm in every way I can.

Pam's Story

I have been a KDUV listener for many years. I love the music, the stories, the people and the purity of the station.

One morning, KDUV wasn't on the air (later I found out there were technical problems), but I was DISTRESSED to think that I would no longer have KDUV to listen to. That's when I became a monthly supporter on a personal level, and later became a monthly supporter through my ministry of Kids Count.

I love KDUV and the fact that the ONLY agenda they have is to encourage others to love the Lord!

Matthew's Story

Like the saying goes, "God is good, even when you aren't". I work in construction all over Bakersfield, and the drivers on the road aren't always courteous (including myself). When someone on the road does something out of line, I love the fact that listening to your station can speak to me. The songs and the uplifting moods of the DJ's ministers to me when I could easily get in the flesh and react to their moves with moves of my own. This station really speaks to me when I need it to.
